New Book: Das Scaled Agile Framework – Lean und Agile in großen Unternehmen skalieren

2015 marked a record year in terms of growth of the SAFe community and the number of enterprises adopting SAFe. Initially the growth trends were weighted toward the U.S., but of late we’ve seen a significant uptick from the international community.

book_german_safeFor example, there’s a publicly available japanese translation of the scaledagileframework.com site, and SAFe classes are being presented worldwide in multiple languages—Japanese, Finnish, German, French, Portuguese, Dutch, and French, to name a few.

And from Germany, the latest contribution comes from Christoph Mathis, a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) and Agile Coach with improuv GmbH. His new book, Das Scaled Agile Framework – Lean und Agile in großen Unternehmen skalieren, provides valuable, first-hand accounts of the challenges addressed by Agile practices, and how SAFe integrates those practices to establish visibility and alignment throughout all levels of the enterprise.

As a seasoned pro with years of field experience in Agile, Christoph provides an in-depth view of SAFe from the perspective of someone who has enabled organizational change from the trenches. He guides you through the fundamentals, the balance between principles and practices, and how good teams, effective leadership, and solid technical practices are the building blocks for a Lean-Agile organization.

Regardless of the challenges you face, or where you sit in your company, this book is a great read for anyone looking to deliver more value, faster, with better quality and happier teams (but only if you understand German!).

Below are  links to the book through both the U.S. and German Amazon sites.
